String lighting, globe lighting, cafe lighting, market lighting, festive lighting, Edison lighting, party lighting. There are as many names as there are uses for these stylish fixtures. Many of our customers in the past have loved our event lighting so much that they have decided to install permanent lighting in the backyard, patio, or in a public space like an outdoor bar, café or restaurant. This style of light has become very popular for all types of businesses over the years and for good reason - it's classy and an extremely cost effective way to light up almost any space year-round. A permanent installation is more involved than our typical event set up but has similar elements. Once a design is agreed upon we set up tiny steel wiring between anchors. An anchor can be on a building, tree or pole. There is always a solution in any space. Once we have set the steel cable we run lighting across that span. There are many different types of lights and spacing to choose from, but our system is always custom cut to your project. The wiring is small, black and discrete. We go to great lengths to make our lighting unobtrusive during the day and brilliant at night - no extension cords or bulbs dangling down cluttering the space. Our system is clean and tidy. With the steel cables in place the lights can easily be removed or repaired as needed, and if you want a different look at any point we can change the lighting style without re-installing the cables. Our system also holds up to the Columbia River Gorge wind! An investment to be enjoyed daily for many years.
