With a wedding, party, event or any gathering proper lighting can be the most important part of an evening. Subtle and tasteful lighting can transform a backyard space or tent into an intimate and inviting atmosphere. It's also the most cost effective way to create a mood for a memorable night. There are so many options with string lights - also called market lights or bistro lights - that almost anything can be done. West Side Services specializes in dramatic "spans" of string lighting between several anchor points using our unique rope access experience. We will look at each site and create a unique design with your involvement. We love the creative process and we want our customers to get exactly what they want. Some of our more dramatic projects have been climbing large trees and either hanging string lights straight down or doing swooping "spans" of illumination. If you have a large outdoor space without any other lighting available, these spans can light expansive areas and are absolute crowd pleasers. We also offer lantern lighting, uplighting, and twinkle lighting (mini-lights) wrapped around trees, bannisters, etc. With all projects, Zack Smith, the owner of WSS, handles everything from start to finish and will be physically on site for the estimate, installation, and take down. Many larger wedding and event companies have lighting as one of the many services they offer. WSS focuses only on this very underrated aspect for your individual event, party, or wedding.

• Call or email to arrange a free onsite consultation and estimate. All questions and concerns are welcome.

• Estimate will include rental, installation, and take down. No surprises.

• We will discuss when install and take down can occur. Ideally we prefer to do our lighting the day before other vendors show up. Due to the delicate and complicated nature of our work it's cumbersome and dangerous to have people under us. Because of this we also like to be the last to take down our gear - usually the day after the event.

• We are more than happy to work with florists, event planners, wedding planners or venue owners to light you up.

• All lighting will be tested and checked multiple times. We recognize the significance of your evening and we always make sure our lighting is functioning perfectly. We are also willing to remain onsite at the beginning of your event to make 100% sure everything is a go.

• We respectfully ask for a 50% deposit before the installation. The remaining balance can be paid after the take down within 30 days.
